Description
This rocky beach and estuary of the Columbia River is located below Wanapum Dam. The Ice Age Flood waters would have surged down the Columbia River from the Frenchman Coulee area west of Moses Lake carving the unique rock formations that are visible here. The water would have been blocked at Sentinel Gap to the south thus forming a branch of Glacial Lake Lewis.
