Artist's Description

A Water Parsnip, Cicuta sp. grows on the bank of Conboy Lake. Water Parsnip is in the same genus and is similar in appearance to Water hemlock, Cicuta maculata, which is one of the most toxic plants known to man. Upon close examination, but while avoiding contact with the plant, I decided that this specimen is not a Water hemlock. Regardless of the name, I thought it was beautiful.
