The cliffs of the Ice Age Flood rise above Highway 14 as viewed from the Chamberlin Safety Rest Area east of Lyle, Washington. A large Mountain Ash, Sorbus canadensis, tree is in the foreground at the Rest Area. Douglas fir, Pseudotsuga menziesii, trees cling to the cliffs.
