Artist's Description

The Ritner Creek bridge was constructed in 1926 and named in honor of Sebastian Ritner an Oregon pioneer, who settled in the area in 1845. Some of his descendants still live in the area. The bridge was save from demolition in 1974 and moved to its present location when the new bridge was constructed on Oregon Hwy 223, the Kings Valley Road, in the community of Pedee south of Dallas, Oregon in Benton County.
