Artist's Description

This hole in the rock at the top of the basalt cliffs at the Lincoln Boat Launch area at Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area is a testimony to the massive power of the Ice Age Flood. There is another smaller hole to the right of the larger one. I would estimate that the basalt cliff is approximately 600 to 700 feet high. That is a lot of water to have carved such a massive rock formation.
