Artist's Description

I took another look at my photograph of the roots of the World's Largest Spruce Tree in the Quinault Rain Forest and noticed that looked as if there was a frog in the roots. The frog can be seen on the left side of the tree. In my earlier photographs I documented what appears to be a giant tortoise in the roots of the same tree. The tortoise is near the top of the roots on the right side of the tree.
