A Church and a Tree

Charles Robinson
Medium
Painting - Oil Painting On Parchment
Description
This was the last of my paintings in 1967 prior to my induction into the Army. It was painted on parchment paper. It is a hypothetical scene. In my other works, I painted in layers of color. In this one I just used dabs of color to create the effect.

I am so pleased that my art and photographs inspire some memories, Karen. I think that is why I love to share my work. The painting might even have been inspired by that Hocking Hills church.
