The self-propelled 175mm howitzer is truly "hell on wheels" and is one of the workhorses of the 2nd Armored Division of the United States Army at Ft. Hood, Texas. I served in a 175mm howitzer batallion in Vietnam at which time we fired support fire for the Marines at Khe Sanh during the 1968 Tet Offensive. The maximum effective range of this huge howitzer is 33,000 meters or approximately 19 miles with a kill radius of over 50 meters.

I am a born again follower of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I have dedicated my life to serving Him and spreading the good news and the Glory of God.
