Artist's Description

This is an old postcard of the "Warner House" dated 1918. You can see the old street car and the antique automobiles. You will notice that it has a tall steeple, which is not present on my more recent photograph. The Warner Hotel, located on North Paint Street in Chillicothe, Ohio, operated under that name from 1886 until it closed in 1964. It had operated as the Valley House prior to Jack Warner taking over the hotel in 1886. I do not know when the building was built or began operation as a hotel.
