Description
My Mother, Eleanor Robinson, embroidered this replica of the famed Bayeux Tapestry in 1988 following a trip to Europe. It is one of the greatest of all her marvelous works of art. The original tapestry, depiciting the Norman Conquest of England in 1066, is now exhibited at the Muse de la Tapisserie de Bayeux in Bayeux, Normandy, France.
