Description
Blooming flowers in the debris field at the Mt St Helens Volcanic Monument demonstrate the resilience of nature. I think that this pink beauty is Crassula or Jade Plant. Jade is typically a xeric plant. Although the volcanc rock and debris certainly appear to be very dry with little soil, I would not expect to see Crassula growing in this habitat. Does anyone know what it is?
