Description
The Grays River covered bridge was constructed in 1905 and covered in 1906 because it was too slick for livestock to cross safely. It has been restored and is in the National Historic Register, but is on private property near Skamokawa, Washington in Wahkiakum County.

Charles, Of all the images you've created of Grays River Covered Bridge, this is my favorite. They are all wonderful, but I am fascinated by the detail of the end roof treatment on this bridge and it is really emphasized from this angle. And it is a relatively long bridge. I've never seen any other covered bridge with this unique design! Great!!!

Thank you very much, Richard. This is one of my favorites as well. Thanks for visiting.
